Easter Weekend

We had a beautiful Easter!

On Saturday,
I made a big batch of chocolate chip cookies
and we all munched on them
while we dyed eggs.



I know Scotty really liked dyeing the eggs.
Maya had fun, too,
but there was no contest...
she liked the cookies a little bit more.



The finished product was beautiful!



After we were done with the eggs,
we all went out to dinner.
Mr. Wok. Yummy!
No, it really isn't an Easter kind of place...
but delicious all the same.

On Sunday morning, we woke up to full Easter baskets
and beautiful weather.


While the kids went through the goodies that the bunny brought them,
Steven and I hid eggs outside.
Then the hunt began!




When all of the eggs were found,
the kids each got a present.
Maya got a Twilight t-shirt
and Scotty got the Spiderman 2 DVD.
We ate some breakfast and watched
Spidey before we headed across the street
to our friends, the Jebaraj's
for another egg hunt.


When the eggs were found,
Maya, Scott,
Rachel, Abby and Trevor all lounged in the hammock,
ate candy and giggled
until it was time to come home
and eat our family dinner.
