July Fourth

July Fourth smelled liked sausages, tasted like
hamburgers, and had no fireworks, but it was relaxed
and fun.
Our plan was to drive our Jeep to Cripple Creek and
see a small fireworks show.

That, clearly didn't happen.

The night before The fourth, we had a family discussion and
decided to continue a long tradition and drive up the
hill to Idaho Springs.
We drove up the hill and, sadly, there were no fireworks
this year, due to construction?
That seemed strange to us, seeing as it was a holiday.
But we had fun chilling out at the house, eating grilled,
sausages, hot dogs, hamburgers and playing
video games.
That is literally all we did.

I think we had a good July Fourth :)

Memorial Day

I wanted to do this this post on Memorial day, and I would like to say that
I didn't have time to until a week later, but we all know that that's not true.
I've really just been procrastinating.

So for this Memorial Day, we had Kev spend the weekend with us to, basically
sit on the the couch, eat, play video games and eat more.

We did this throughout the weekend and had a barbecue dinner on Monday.
There's literally nothing else to say.
