So on Instagram, I posted a photo of the kids looking out of our bay window. The scene outside looked like this...
I captioned the picture, "I wish spring would arrive!" to which my mom wrote, "This IS spring."
Fine.
She's right. This is spring in Colorado...but I'm tired of the snow. I decided to make the best of it and told the kids to get dressed.
There was about four inches on the ground. The wind was blowing snow all over, (which is why in some of these shots both Maya and Scott are squinting) but they're smiling, too. Bright, beautiful, smiling kids. God I love them.
I'd love to start being able to take pictures of them under a blue sky filled with sunshine, though. :) I see little purple buds forming on the lilac bush out front. Come on warmer weather!
