My grandmother Mimi celebrates her 89th birthday today. We had serious doubts this past month that she would be here to see this day. My mom and my aunts have arranged a party for her...complete with food from the Olive Garden and a pretty substantial guest list. Although we can't be there to celebrate with her, we wanted to wish her a happy birthday here from our part of the world.
